What I Do
I created this space to help those who want to know more about living a plant based vegan lifestyle. Many of my friends, family, and their friends and family have shared they want to “go vegan” but don’t know where to start. So I am building the space for everyone to share and get recipe inspiration, lifestyle tips, and of course a little culture!
I share and create recipe content that is simple and typically can be made in 30 minutes or less. You’ll find ‘mostly‘ healthy dishes that have enough flava to keep you coming back for more!
Its okay to be the first veg(an) in your family. Go ‘head and set that standard!
Living in urban Black America eating healthy isn’t the most accessible nor is it made a priority in most households. Corner stores and fast food were my quick options growing up and sadly still is the case for a lot of people.
Lets take back our health and change the narrative of what healthy looks like!
Here, I show you how to create recipes centered around old favorites with a healthier twist. A lot of the ingredients can be found at your local grocery stores. All you need is an open mind and be willing to Get Creative in Your Kitchen. I’ll show you how to take everyday staples and turn them into some of your favorite meals. Some of those very recipes you’ve come to love just with a few tweaks.
My goal is to empower you to feel more comfortable with making food at home, knowing what to order while out, and to just make better choices for yourself, however that may look to you. I want this to be your safe space to come to for plant-based vegan lifestyle inspiration.
